Hans has been in the group benefits industry since 1997 and has been a part of the UAS team since 2006. Hans is currently the lead consultant to 12 multiemployer healthcare funds and 6 multiemployer pension funds. He is also a frequent speaker and author on healthcare quality and cost containment strategies.

Among his professional credentials, Hans is a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS^®), a Registered Employee Benefit Consultant (REBC^®), a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU^®), and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP^®). Hans holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Diplomacy.
