Kathy Garrity, FSA, EA, MAAA

Kathy joined UAS in 2005 and serves as Chief Actuary. In this role, Kathy is responsible for review of actuarial policies, procedures, and assumptions. This includes both compliance with professional actuarial standards and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Kathy is lead consultant to 8 multiemployer pension funds and provides actuarial support only on an additional 16 pension funds.

Kathy has 35 years of experience in pension and post-retirement welfare consulting. Her background includes cost and design analysis for plans in a variety of industries. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (FCA), a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), and an Enrolled Actuary (EA) under the provisions of ERISA.
