Pierce Martin, EA, MAAA

Pierce is a Consulting Actuary with 9 years of experience in the multi-employer benefits field at UAS. He is currently a consultant or enrolled actuary on 8 pension and 3 health and welfare funds and assists with actuarial duties for the UAS Benefit Calculation and Research Teams. His main responsibilities include consulting and advisory duties, reviewing report materials provided to pension and welfare funds, and performing benefit studies. He has been involved in several comprehensive projects, including multiple applications for Special Financial Assistance under the American Rescue Plan Act (“ARPA”), Multiemployer Pension Reform Act of 2014 (“MPRA”) benefit suspension applications, and plan merger studies. Pierce is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) and an Enrolled Actuary (EA) under the provisions of ERISA. He has been in the actuarial field since joining UAS and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science and Business.
